Lisa Wallin LeClair - Throws

Lisa Wallin LeClair enters her 11th year as the Throws Coach for the Jumbos, first as a member of the men's staff. She and her husband, Jon LeClair, now in his 5th year as an assistant in the field events, both grew up in Lebanon, NH. Lisa and Jon have had incredible success at Tufts, coaching over 20 NESCAC and New England Champions in the throws, as well as numerous All-Americans in the shot put, discus, hammer throw, weight throw, and pentathlon. Lisa attended Wheaton College, where she played soccer and captained the track and field team. As a heptathlete, she found most of her success in the throws, qualifying for the NCAAs in the shot put. Lisa is a 7th grade Geography teacher at Dedham Middle School and also helps coach the varsity girl’s soccer team. She and Jon have been married since 2012, and have a son named Sawyer.
