Charles River

The team also runs paths on the banks of the Charles River. The team typically chooses to run the Charles once the Fells have been blanketed in snow, as well as traditionally choosing the Charles for the Sunday morning long run. Runs on the river take the team past the campuses of Harvard, MIT, and BU and include sweeping views of downtown Boston. Distances typically range from 6 to 14 miles. The team often extends runs beyond the banks of the Charles venturing to the Boston Marathon course on Marathon Monday, the Bunker Hill monument, Fenway Park, Chinatown, Boston Commons, the aquarium, and even Logan Airport.
