Jumbos Wrap up Regular Season at UMass-Lowell

The Tufts men turned in a stream of strong performances throughout an unseasonably warm day at UMass Lowell, with many season best performances as well as qualifying standards for post-season meets. The Jumbos faced Division II schools Lowell and Bentley, DIII rival Keene State, as well as other schools.

Tufts was paced by top three performances from many Jumbos. In the jumps: Evan Blaser (2nd High Jump), Seth LaPierre (1st Pole Vault), Will Heitmann (2nd Pole Vault), Justin Henneman (3rd Pole Vault), Fred Jones (1st Triple Jump, 1st Long Jump), and Nate Thompson (3rd Long Jump).

In the hurdle events, the Jumbos had top three performances from Thompson (2nd 110m Hurdles), Jamil Ludd (1st 110m Hurdles), and Trevor Williams (2nd 400m Hurdles).?

In the throwing events, Tufts was led by Brandon Udelhofen (3rd Discus), Dan March (1st Hammer), and Jason Galvin (3rd Hammer).

On the track, top three performances came from the 4x400m relay team (2nd), as well as Pat Mahoney (2nd 800m), Matt Fortin (3rd 1500m), Josh Kennedy (2nd 2 Mile), Justin Chung (3rd 5000m), Dan Jones (1st Steeplechase), and Chad Uy (2nd Steeplechase).
