Jumbos Secure Second Place at MIT

Led by individual event winners Brandon Udelhofen (Discus) Nate Cleveland (800 meters), and Nate Brigham (5000 meters) the Jumbos took second against UMass Lowell, MIT, and Bowdoin. The Tufts men were also helped by the efforts of Nate Thompson, who helped the team by placing well in multiple individual events (2nd Hurdles, 2nd Long Jump, 4th Triple Jump).

Additionally, the throws crew of Udelhofen, Dan March, Ryan Byrne, Ryan McPherson, Vincent Galatro, Tyler Groff, Jason Galvin, Tim Bassell, and Lionel Yarmon all contributed in multiple events like it was going out of style. In the vertical jumps, junior Evan Blaser turned in yet another 6'0" to take second in the event. His streak of 6-foot performances stretches back to mid-February. The team's overall finish was helped by strong group performances in the 800, 5K, and each of the four throwing events.
