Jumbos Compete Against Best at Open NEs

This past weekend, a select few Jumbos competed at the Open New England Championships hosted by the University of Southern Connecticut in New Haven, CT. Competing against some of the best track and field athletes that New England has to offer, the Jumbos posted a number of noteworthy performances this weekend.

Sophomore Gbola Ajayi demonstrated that he is truly one of the best jumpers in New England by outperforming his seed in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump. Athough Ajayi narrowly missed PRing in each event, he is poised to put together some amazing jumps at next weekend
