Rand Named NESCAC XC Performer of the Week

For the first time in his career, junior Matt Rand was named the NESCAC Cross Country Performer of the Week after his impressive win at the Maine Invitational hosted by Bowdoin College last weekend. Rand's PR finish of 25:05 was 40 seconds better than his previous lifetime best and helped lead the Jumbos to a team victory in their first meet of the season.

After a sophomore outdoor campaign that saw him take 6th place at the NCAA 10k, his first All American honor, Rand is coming into this season hungry to translate that success onto the cross country course and lead TUXC to a new level.
