These marks were good enough to take 1st and 2nd in the meet, scoring the Jumbos 18 points.

Also scoring for the Jumbos were seniors Joe Brown, with an 8th place throw in the weight, and Jeremy Arak, with a 3rd place finish in the high jump. These performances totaled 35 points, landing the Jumbos 4th place in ECAC with only 5 scoring athletes.

Across the way at the IC4A championships at BU, the Tufts foursome of Dave Sorensen, Andrew Longley, Billy Hale, and Jesse Faller competed in the DMR against stiff division 1 competition. They were led off by a strong 3:02 1200 by Sorensen, followed by a 48-high split from Longley. Hale then took the race out with a 1:54-high and Faller was able to close in 4:13-high, ending up with an official time of 10:00.05, breaking the previous school record by over a second, and improving their standing on the NCAA list.

Congrats to all Jumbos on a great indoor season, and good luck to those competing at nationals!
